1. I was looking to adapt a Canon fd 100 f/4 macro on my olympus om-d e-m1. Anyone use this lens? How is sharpness, contrast, and color? Any other good macro lenses under $200 (not 30mm panny, too short) with a faster aperture that is tack-sharp or close to it? I like the idea of the olympus 60mm f/2.8 but it is just a tad too much. Thanks. Josiah.
2. This helps a lot. Thanks. Is it OK to buy third party batteries?
3. I'm going to get a olympus om-d e-m1. I know that mirrorless cameras are known for their bad battery life and I needed a extra battery. So should I get extra li-on batteries or a battery grip?
4. Has anyone tried the tokina 80-400mm (not the new one, the old film one) on the Olympus om-d em-1 before? How is the image quality? I was thinking of this because it's a lot cheaper on eBay than the Panasonic 100-300, has more reach and a brighter aperture. Any thoughts? Josiah. P.S. I'm an a tight budget so the Panasonic won't work.
5.
I just found the Olympus 35mm f/3.5 E-ED macro lens on Adorama. It's 80 dollars and says it comes with a built in computer for shading, exposure, and distortion correction. Is this one good? It can do 1:1 macro and sounds nice for portraits.

6.
I looked at the e-m5 mark i but it didn't have built in wifi and that was a deal breaker. I'm going to Washington DC with the boy scouts next year and all i'll have is a phone. There is wifi throughout the camp. I can't afford a laptop. I don't shoot in heavy rains at all, the weather sealing just sounded nice. For macro does the panasonic 30mm work? It sound a bit short for portraits. The 45mm Zieuss (don't think i spelled that right) is out of my price range. For telephoto I looked at the 100-300mm but the gap in between 45mm and 100mm sounded a bit much. Maybe the 75-300? Thanks for the quick reply's

7. Hello I'm new here and wanted to know if the Olympus OM-D e-m10 mark ii would be a good camera. I was also thinking of the e-m5 mark ii because of the high resolution mode and weather sealing, but it was a bit over my budget with lenses. I have a old automatic nikon l810 and wanted manual controls on a nice somewhat cheap camera that can be upgraded (lenses and flash, etc.). I life in Oregon near portland and it rains a lot in the winter so is the e-m5 mark ii better? For lenses I'm thinking of a wide standard(probably a kit lens), a telephoto (Panasonic 45-200), and a macro. I saw the Oshiro 60mm macro for 270 online and was thinking of this one because it can do 2:1 to infinity. This would be my portrait lens. Has any one used this lens on a micro 4/3 camera? Online it says it can be used on one. The main types of photography I want to do is macro, wildlife, and portraits. Will these lenses do? I have a budget 1000 use. Please bear with me, I'm new and no where near professional. Thanks!
