Building a new pc system to edit photos....wat are your preferences in monitors....flat screen or curved? I'm looking for larger than 27"

I shoot JPEG and RAW files and download to my MAC's Photo program. I cannot find a way to now transfer both files off my Mac to a portable hard drive. My Mac drive is all but maxed out and I need to move these to the portable drive as well as a cloud storage......HELP!!! Thanks in advance!
