  1. That’s wild — it was TriX. And the shop said it was part of a batch, waiting to hear back if other rolls had the same issue. They were kind enough to refund the processing cost and a fresh roll.
  2. Thanks all, really appreciate the insight. Never experienced it before, even when developing myself. Based on cost, I'm better served to buy a tank and chemicals and start doing it myself again. Maybe I'll find a nice Rondinax 35U haha.
  3. Thanks Conrad. So, something like leaving it in my car might've caused it? Any other possible culprits?
  4. Just got some negatives back from the lab, and the scans have some issues I haven't encountered before. Maybe it's something completely obvious that I'm not thinking of, brittle film, too aged? Any ideas welcome. Would love to avoid in the future. Thank you. I've attached a close up of an image, showing the issues. Each image has these same aberrations.
  5. <p>Thanks all! I appreciate all the insight. I'm amazed at the knowledge base!</p> <p>That will be this weekend's project. Going to follow a couple of the processes, on the less than loved negs and see what happens.</p> <p>Will keep you posted. </p>
  6. <p>Hello hello,<br> I received some terrible news after moving to a new house. <br> Somehow a bottle of linseed oil spilled on an open binder with negatives in plastic sheets.<br> Luckily it seems as though only a few of the negatives on each sheet are damaged, but it still is rather devastating.<br> I know it's a long shot, but writing to see if anyone has any potential cures or fixes for this to get rid of the linseed oil which has became somewhat gel like on the negs.<br> Any and all thoughts welcome (unless it's to remind me how big of an eff up this is, I know!) :(<br> <br />Thanks all!</p>
