1. A side trip down to Tulum is a great side adventure. The kids will like all of iguanas running around. We paid for a private guide - I don't recall the cost, but five years ago it was not that much. Bring a wide angle to capture all of the great builds and landscape. Enjoy!
 2. I love to visit San Francisco. I get there about three times a year. I second the recommendation to Alcatraz - a very nice place. But buy your tickets NOW! It can sellout quickly. I would also recommend a visit to the Palace of Fine Arts - originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. Riding the cable cars is a lot of fun as well. Enjoy.
 3. I am a big fan of backpack style bags - ones with a waist belt to take the load off your shoulders. I have a few (3+) bags but often am reaching for one of the Lowepro bags that I have. I don't have your camera kit - only a Nimon D7100 - but it might do the trick. It can easily hold my camera with an 18-140mm lens with hood and still have room to hold three more lenses plus other gear. I do agree with the others that having the ability to try the bag in person before buying is a great option. I hope this helps. Jim
 4.
Michael, thanks - I will try the aluminum foil trick and see how it goes. I also saw the T90 battery tray on eBay for 30.99 as well - odd that they want that much when you can purchase 'parts' one for $25! Regards, Jim

 5.
Hello, I have a good T90 - takes very nice pictures, but unfortunately one of the contacts on the battery try broke off and now the batteries lose contact with each other and the camera turns off. Do you know who does repairs for this sort of thing or am I better off finding a broken unit for parts? Any advise would be appreciated.
I will try and post a picture of the unit.
Jim

 6. Hi, I just completed a four day hiking / trekking trip along the Inca Trail to Machu Picch and used a Lowepro Photo Sport 200AW. I carried my D7100 with an 18-140mm attached and my 55-300mm stored in the main camera compartment. It also held my three extra batteries, case with SD cards, all of my filters, and external flash. There was extra room for rain gear and extra jacket. I really like the backpack. Almost forgot, it also has room for a 2 liter camel bag. Hope you have fun. JH
 7. Hello, I am trying to improve my photography technic and would welcome any comments to help me improve.
