my little apple tree after 3 years of chemo therapy sometimes i do not recognise myself in the mirror..

As last week, just a few shots from the garden. The appletree is waiting for warmer weather. (nights are still cold here)

Just a quick dash trough the garden..Finally after 3 days of rain the sun is shining again. Love the apple tree, you don't have to bend down to photograph a flower bud.. :-)

Mick, thanks for kicking off. AP was on my wishlist, but declined when i figured out it would be some 4 hour drive from my friends place in Oceanside NY.. A bit too far just to have a beer at the stone pony. We went to Barrier Brewing co instead. Good beer :-) Marcel: as good as can be expected after 2.5 years of chemo therapy on a 3 week cyclus. What breaks me up is the lack of energy. Even thinking about activities is exchausting. I'm glad my garden is waking up. Here the apple tree, showing buds. daffodils are doing fine: front garden had some wind, sharpnes handhold 5d4 with 100 2.8 Lis macro is a bit ehmm.. all out of camera jpg's only resised.

the Canon OC-E3 supports E-TTL and E_TTLII a lot of the off brand cables only support TTL (leaned the hard way.) Accordign to the B&H site the Vello cables also support E-TTLII.

We got the snow they predicted. This first one is 8am isch after just 1 night of snowfall. This one is after 1 day, snow and windforce 7..

I was going to cut the roses, but as the spiders are still using them to anker the webs to them.. decided to wait till after the snow that is predicted for the coming weekend. The primulas are waking up, as are the slugs that eat them.. These are done :-)

I didn't photograph much , been busy with my other hobby. This is my new cable between the Pre and Power amp (Classe 800mkII and Classe CA2300 ) I had a audio magic microphone calbe in there. This is a Goldkabel executive XLR kryo.. It was kind of expensive, but the sound improved much.. worth it..

Slowly, very slowly recovering from another dose of chemo therapy. (16th this year) Just a reminder that if you do the x-mass shopping to also support your local brewery.. this is not my local, my friends took me there last year .. just cleaning up the souvenirs.. They have some good ones. Barrier brewing from Oceanside NY. one of my nieces thought i needed aome colorfull socks. Not a chistmass gift, a belated birthday gift..

Thank you. I used F=2.8 here, to disguise the weeds growing between the flowers.. normally i use the 100 macro with f=16 or even 22 for flowers. j.

Post up to 3 photos. 5 min sunny window between rain showers.. lucky i had the 5d4 with 24-70 2.8 handy. Just had to dash out ..

I was not going to post these, but it was raining so hard today, i just couldn't go out and make new ones. Last of the dahlias and last of the passion flowers.. more next week if weather improves ..

A year ago i was in New York. Seems like forever..
