<p>I know this is a decade-old thread but, FYI, I was looking at a Zenit 20mm f/2.8 on eBay, considering bidding on a new one. I couldn't find much info on the lens via a Google search. I contacted the seller who seems to be a rep for Zenit, but out of Atlanta, GA. He told me the Zenit 20mm f/2.8 is new lens they unveiled at Photokina 2014 and that it is a revamped version of the Mir-47 f/2.5, but that it's smaller and lighter than the Mir accomplished by making the lens a 2.8 rather than a 2.5. I'm seriously considering purchasing one. If anyone has shot with the new Zenit 20mm, I'd love to see some pics and/or hear about your experience with it.</p>
