  4. <p>This is a known defect that happens with some of the EM1s. If you look it up on the DPR M43 forum, there have been a number of people with this particular failure. Olympus does repair the camera successfully for it, as nobody seems to be having repeat problems after it is fixed, so your warrantee repair should be pretty easy, once you get a chance to send it in.</p>
