  11. Hey Vincent, I have one digital camera that is still working, a Nikon D80. My other digital cams are a D40, and Kodak. Film cameras I have a Pentax K1000, Ricoh, Canon A1, Nikomat, and Fujica. Not all of them work; including the Digital. I do have photos ready to post, so I am assuming that if I am approved I will be able to show them. And I would never disprespect anyone who totally uses film. We all must stand by what we feel allows us to create our best work.
  12. Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, and I have been looking around at the amazing work here that the members have contributed/posted. I have just recently retired and I feel I have more time now to follow my passion. My grandfather always said to me: before you satisfy an audience of many, you must satisfy an audience of one. Well I have been moderately successful as a photographer, but the struggle has torn me up way too many times, so now I am just concentrating on myself and what I see in my camera. That doesn't mean I am not curious about other like minded photographers, or that I don't want to share my work. To share is to learn, and there is always something to learn... and so I am here. Although I am not sure in what capacity yet, as I don't know if I have been fully approved by the moderators at this time. I don't fully understand how that works. So for now I will just be satisfied to explore until such time that I am able to post photos, that I would hope are not too much of a disappointment, in that I am already totally intimidated by what I have seen. That being said, hello to everyone Regards, Ian
