You could always try the Lens Doctor. Not much Eddie can't do

<p>The 20-35mm is a superb lens. Mine lives permanently on one of my NewF-1's. You wouldn't regret buying it I am sure. Apart from the speed, you probably wouldn't see any quality issues. Anyway , how many of us use lenses wide open; most stop down a bit for "normal" conditions</p>

<p>I have both and use the 35-105 as my walking about/travel lens on my F-1N's, particularly for landscapes. The 100mm is a very sharp lens and gives a decent working distance as mentioned above.<br> I recently purchased a 200mm f4 macro which I have just has CLA'd by The Lens doctor and a getting used to using this extremely sharp macro. It has a very nice tripod ring . It is still light enough to use as a hand held telephoto.</p>

<p>I owned a<br> n Eos-1, 2x 1n and a 1V. I have sold the 1 and the 1n's will go. While i will keep the 1v as it is a superb camera, for film work I do prefer my Fd cameras ( F-1N's , T90 and A1 predominantly)</p>

<p>If you can afford the relatively small max aperture, don't discount the 500mm f8 mirror. It is much more handleable lens.<br> I have a Canon SSC breechlock version . If you found a FDn mount version you could get it converted to EF mount here <a href="http://www.thelensdoctor.co.uk/index.html">http://www.thelensdoctor.co.uk/index.html</a>.</p> <p>I also have a Sigma 600mm f8 mirror which isn't a bad lens either. </p> <p>Before it raises a storm of comment, I am well aware that mirror lenses are what we call in the UK "marmite lenses". (For those of you in the colonies who haven't come across Marmite, it is a yeast based spread for toast or sandwiches. There are no two ways about this stuff, you either love or loathe it!)</p>

<p>My favourite is the 20-35mm L zoom. I have had it for 10 years and it basically lives on one of my F-1n's. Great for virtually anything but love it for cityscapes. Just had it cleaned and checked by the Lens Doctor in the UK, so now ready for the next 10 years</p> <p> </p>

<p>I have 2 Power winder FN's and one Motor Drive FN for mine. I keep looking at digital then I pick up a F-1n and the urge to change sort of disappears !</p>

<p>I am a F-1N fan. I currently have 4 of them plus a range of Fd lenses. My local camera shop run by an old buddy of mine is currently trying to sell me an unused , mint one with an AE finder. Given the price, I am very tempted, but if the wife finds out ..........</p>
