i cant see any reset options in menu`s, maybe my firmwares differant.

Hi Steve, Yea I tried the reset by pressing the 2 green buttons on the top, and blowing air in the mirror, didnt help though.....maybe the d800 is faulty, it only had 6000 shots, seemed a good deal. When I got it , it was in french language made me a bit sceptical....says can be returned within a month. only had it a week.

Hi, A week ago I bought a Nikon 2137 AF nikkor 50 mm 1.8 d lens for a 2nd hand d800 I also bought recently, I`ve had some nice results with it, but also some problems. I can only get it to focus properly when looking through the live view screen, ie a green focus light, If i look through the viewfinder it wont auto focus with a green focus point, ever. most of the time it blinks red, according to the manual this means its unable to focus, a small amount of the time it will try and focus but show neither red or green, it did this in the park yesterday . Is anyone else using this lens without problems? I may try the G version, and hopefully that will work. Hope someone can help, or advize, regards, Stuart, B`ham
