1.
That is the primary reason I sold my SQai . I got tired and frustrated with fooling with that battery holder/ compartment. Like the other poster suggested, try tensioning the spring, or just fold up a small piece of paper a few times and place on top of battery holder so when door closes, it creates pressure. Or do what I did and get yourself an SQ-A . The battery design of the SQ ai was a major downfall.

 2.
Hi, Does anyone have a recommendation for a lab that prints 30x40" black and white prints? I have a series of work I need to get printed at that size. Some of the upper end inkjets I suppose would work as well. Thank you

 3.
Hello All,
I have some older classic manual camera equipment that I would like to get CLa'd/ looked over and am searching for a repair man. Last I spoke with Frank Marshman (Camera Wiz) he told me he was retiring from the repair business (unless anyone here knows otherwise)..... A few 35mm cameras, TLRS, etc.. Nothing spectacular just need to get seals, shutters lubed ... you know. Anyone have recommendations please feel free to reply to this thread or message me directly. thank you!

 4.
I second Jochen's response.. start shooting more film in general. You'll get a better feel of what situations warrant what speed films, then aperature/shutter speed combos. Soon you will be able to walk outside or indoors into a lot of common scenarios and nail the exposures pretty close most of the time. Plus film has that forgiving latitude if you are off by a stop or so. Keep eyes on subjects/action and less on settings. It will come to you :-)

 5.
Hello,
I just happened to enter a local "call to artists" event exhibition in my area on a whim.. One of my images has been selected for display at a local cultural center (city ran). There will be an official opening reception, and the exhibit will run for about 2 months (April -June). I am completely flattered and excited. My question is if someone comes up and asks if I would be interested in selling a license of the image what should I charge? Possibly for magazine print/ other. I have googled this but am still confused. The image is of a major structural fixture in my city, captured at night that turned out really well, and is getting a lot of attention, and possibly more. I am just looking for advice at this point. I will have a framed 24x30 print at the show. Print sales themselves is a different matter that I have a pretty good handle on, so just licensing q/a. . thanks.

 6.
Hi,
I have the Olympus E-3 system and want to start to use this for copy~digitization work. Main items for replication; slides, negatives, possible print work. I know I will need to get either a macro lens (35 or the 50?) OR an extension tube w/ older OM lens setup in order to get 1/1. Copy stand and light source I along with remote. I picked up a generic cabled remote from the auction site but does not seem to work. I have enabled my camera to shoot tethered to my laptop w/ Lightroom. I have searched on the web and found several articles but I wanted to ask the 4/3 forum here on PN. If anyone is using this body and has any pointers for me w/regard to the lens in particular (and anything else) I would like to hear. Ive been putting this project off for years and now its time to pit or get off the shot. Thank you in advance

 7.
Google Frank Marshman (aka Camera Wiz). I have used him to CLA my Rolleiflex and he also rebuilt one of my Bronica 6x6 120 backs. I recommend him personally.

 8.
Hi All,
I recently just got back into developing my own b/w films at home. Strictly 120 only for now. I have read several articles on Kodak Photoflo and water spot removal. I currently am not using this, but that will change shortly. My process is;
Develop film as normal
Stop
Fix
Rinse (cold running tap water for about 10mins)
The last step above is where I am confused. Do I add my Photoflo (pre mixed from one gallon stock solution) AFTER I do my standard 10min rinse? I have also read that users fill the tank up with the photoflo solution and slosh the film reel around in this for 30 seconds, up to 1 min, then hang film strip to dry as is.
I just want to get the information straight as best as possible so I can improve the quality of my negatives. FYI; my water is extremely hard, and spotting is a problem. I do finger squeegy as well as use a rubber squeege but I think that is not helping my situation. Many thanks , and I apologize if this has been addressed before. Cheers!

 9.
Hi Emily , I own both a complete bronica SQAI system with several lenses as well as a Rolleiflex 3.5 tlr. While the bronica has more flexibility 're/ lenses, the fact that it's battery dependent and relatively heavy has it sitting more and more in the closet at the moment. Get the rolleiflex. I'm also going to echo one of the previous posters remarks about getting a hassy because that is what I really want anyway :) good luck with your decision and have fun!!!
