I recently bought a Canon A35 Datelux and everything seems to be working right. My only concern is that the shutter won't fire sometimes, even when the flash is on. Is this how it's supposed to be? I thought in low light, with the flash on, the shutter would still fire. Thanks.

I'm still having trouble with my Nikon FM2 meter. In these pictures I metered for the shadows, but then the sky is blown out. How to do I fix this? I would like a balance between the sky and the land. These pictures were taken at sunrise by the way.

What's the case for the white numbers?

If it's between 30 and 7 ft does that mean all of that is clear and everything after 30 is blurry?

So if it's on F11 the DOF is between 30 and 7 feet?

How do I tell what's in the DOF with the color changes?

Hello! I recently purchased Nikon FM2n with a Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens. I've been trying to figure out the DOF preview, but I can't seem to get it. When I press the DOF down on F1.8 the image is clear, but when I press it down on F22 the image is completely black. I thought the background would be darker on F1.8 since it has a shallow depth of field (Makes the backgrounds blurry?). I also can't tell what's in the depth of field vs not, on the the other F stops. Please help and correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

Hello, I recently started shooting film on my Pentax K1000. After shooting a few rolls, I noticed that the coloring on about half of the pictures had a brownish tint to them. I exposed most of them the same way and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. On these I shot with Kodak Gold 200 and had them developed through Walgreens. You can see the brownish one as opposed to the normal looking one. Please help.
