<p>Has anyone been to the higher elevations to photograph the flower bloom? I have seen some great photos from locals that have visited mt. Rainier and Mt St Helens.</p>

<p>The Palouse is great the time of year you will be here. You would have to have motel reservations, of course. The Columbia Gorge area is also nice. One more: drive highway 14 from Camas and drive East. Cross over to the Oregon side later and come back to the waterfalls along 84. Good shooting!</p>

<p>The flowers and trees are blooming now in the Washington State area. Along the Colombia River Gorge and in Eastern Washington also.</p>
