1.
I agree with Ellis, looks like massive overexposure in those specific areas, not the frames as a whole.
This is normal behaviour, don't worry about it.

 2.
Sarah and Bob, thanks for the info. A while ago I tougth about removing AA filter completely as I'm pretty sure that this is what happened too (scratch or crack), but there is a major problem: not having 'dust cleaning' anymore.

From my online research there is no way to replace only the AA filter in the 5D MKIII, that's the reason one need a new sensor entirely. I hope I'm very wrong!

If I was only using my camera to photograph, there would be no problem with clone tool, but in video, whenever there is a camera movement, there is a big problem. Trying to correct a take frame to frame is SLOW. And often I'm not the one editing the material, so I'm pretty sure I can make any editor very angry.

I found this place:

Canon Factory Service Center
100 Ridge Road
Jamesburg, NJ 08831
Phone: 866-510-1335

Problem is I can't find their e-mail anywhere on internet so I still can't contact them to ask for an estimate of time and price.
Edit: We wrote at the same time. At worst case I'll see if my friend can help me taking the camera there and explaining that we would need a fast service.

 3.
I need some help from you.
A while ago, when I come back from a job, I found my 5D MKIII had this "dust" on the corner of the images I've recorded. Seeing its pattern I already knew that it wasn't looking good so I left my camera in Canon Service Center and found the worse: it was damaged (with a mark that looks like a tiny straight line in the AA filter). If I was only photographing I would really not worry about this, problem is that I work more with video than photography these days...

The worse part is that my insurance company refused to fix the problem, I'm not in the warranty period anymore and the Canon Camera Service from my country (Brazil) asked something around US$ 2,000.00 for the fix! I believe it is a defective sensor problem as I didn't touch it with anything before, except air from the blower. I'm ready to accept my bad lucky and pay for a fix.

So I have 2 options now to try to spend less $: give this camera to a friend that is going to NY next week and ask him to send for repair or buy a new sensor and replace in Canon Service Center from my country, which would cost somewhere around US$ 250.00.

I want to ask 3 questions:
- Does anyone has experience with camera sensor replacement in NY Canon? Was it good or bad?
- I can't find the e-mail from Canon NY Repair Center to ask for price (which I have no idea how much is), address and estimate time for doing this repair. I don't feel confident to make an international call as my English conversation is not good, unfortunately. Can someone help me here?
- Is there any store that sells this sensor somewhere in the city?

Any advice or help is more than welcome! Thanks!
