  1. Hello my friends, greetings to all. I am in the need of either the Dr. Fisher light bulb for my Minox enlarger or an adaptor that replaces the original bulb which has been impossible to find. 2. Hello my friends. I wrote to the guy that makes the contraption to replace the Minox enlarger original light bulb but the email bounced back. Anybody out there knows where can I find this gentleman? I am needing this apparatus in order to use my enlarger. Thank you very much EDUARDO
  3. Hello Michael, unfortunately this forum is very confusing and different from other forums and I couldn't find where to make a private message to you. Thank you very much for your offer. I would like vou to please send me the screw to Miami Florida since I am going to be there for a couple of months. Why don't you write to my email which is edubarca1946@gmail.com and I can give full address. Again thank you so much and all the very best, EDUARDO
  4. Hello. I am looking for the small screw as missing in the 1C enlarger. The photo shows the place where this screw is attached. Anybody can help me? Thank you very much EDUARDO

  6. Hello. I would like to know if there is an adapter for a light bulb to be used with the Minox enlarger when the original Dr. G. Fischer's bulb is not available. I know someone made one but I just can't remember where I saw it. Thank you EDUARDO
  7. Hello my friends. Greetings from Colombia I am reviving my Minox collection of cameras and accessories. I would like to know which is the best ultra fine developer for black and white 8 x 11mm negative film Thanks a lot EDUARDO
  8. Hello my friends. I am reviving my Minox collection and will like to have a spare bulb (Dr. Fischer) for my enlarger, Can anybody out there suggest me where can i get one or a replacement? Thank you very much
  9. I would like to use, if possible, an easy to find lubricant.
  10. I am restoring an Italian Rectaflex SLR. The camera is in top shape except that there is a lag when the shutter is operated. The curtains move well but at the end, it slows down. Someone told me it is lack of lubrication. If true, which one should I use? Thank you. EDUARDO
  11. I forgot to comment that upon testing the batteries in the camera by pushing down the top button, the needle does not move, yet upon testing each battery shows more voltage than the 1.5v stipulated. What is the meaning of this?
  12. My friends. thank you very, very much for such wonderful and interesting information. Now, to simplify things: a) Is the meter irreparable if not working properly? I found two old alkalines that showed correct voltage with a tester but upon installing in the camera, the meter does not operate. This means bad meter or bad batteries or both. b) If I only get alkalines, can they finally be used for ISO 100 black and white film? I won't have to go extremes in ISO since I mostly use ISO 100.
  13. Hello my friends. A friend of mine just gave me a beautiful Nikon Ftn camera. Excellent condition and I just can't wait to use it. I am having a problem: I need the batteries for the camera. They state PX13, RM-625R etc. I tried to find them locally but not easy to find or ¡ extremely expensive. I looked them on the web and also found LR9 replacement but it is alkaline. I read that alkalines are not good for my camera. What is your best advice? Thanks very much and greetings from Colombia. EDUARDO
  14. Hi Glen, thank you very much for your help. Now I find things a little more clear, but what about if I want to bring my enlarger to factory standards and use the incorporated switch? Any suggestions? Please see the attached photo I took of the circuit plan glued to the bottom of the metal cover. It seems it does't coincide with the colours of the cables. By the way, "tierra" means "ground" in Spanbuish
  15. Hello. If this thread is still alive, I have almost ready to use a mint Leitz Focomat 1c. The last step is to wire the unit. Can anybody help me with this issue? The photo shows the mess I discovered when I opened the black cover on the underside of the wooden base. I live in Colombia and the electric standards are the same as in USA. Thanks EDUARDO
