Err on my Nikon N90 film camera.
eddy_d replied to eddy_d's topic in The Wet Darkroom: Film, Paper & Chemistry
Thank you for your advice. I have a Nikon auto lens on it and it was stuck on the 3.5 lock lever but did everything else you mentioned as well and it worked. -
Err on my Nikon N90 film camera.
eddy_d replied to eddy_d's topic in The Wet Darkroom: Film, Paper & Chemistry
I just turned it on and the err message appeared. The camera has not been used in a long while. -
Hello. I posted this once before but cannot find my post on it. So I thought I would try again. Am I able to fix this on my own or does it require to be serviced? Does anyone know why this happens? Thank you in advance.

Carla Bruni by Jean-Baptiste Mondino

The US is uptight about nudity. Other countries not so much. Yet we will show violence in newspapers and on the news as well as dead bodies but a nude person. Get out the torches and battering ram because Frankensteins Monster is in our life. Art classes have nude models and no one bats an eye yet there are artists who are uptight about nudity especially in art shows. "Oh we are family oriented." or "children may see it." Parents bring their kids to nude beaches. They probably grow up with no body shame. I am on some photo groups on Facebook and someone will post a censored nude. You should see the testosterone putting down the model. " How can she disrespect herself like that?" She ought to be ashamed of herself." So I said. Please go to an art class and tell the model she is disrespecting herself in front of all the artists. And let me know how it went afterwards. -
And you think Digiital is cleaner for the environment? Cell phones , digital cameras and Computers have lead and cadmium and other hazardous materials in them. They are not bio degradable and are filling up landfills. The technology is developed at break neck speeds so what is coming out now is already obsolete and then discarded for the new. Computers, and other E waste are listed as hazardous waste where I live and cannot be thrown out with the regular trash.

I tried what you said and no dice. i will be taking it to my technician. Are these lenses always like this on auto Nikons? I never had problems like this with my auto Canons. -
Nikon N90/90s Err message
eddy_d replied to eddy_d's topic in The Wet Darkroom: Film, Paper & Chemistry
Thanks Rick. I will try what you posted. Yes they are a good camera and I will really be bummed if I cannot use it. -
Hello Everyone. I have a question. I misplaced my Nikon N90 and recently found it today. When I turned it on. It had the letters Err in the LCD display. I tried new batteries and put a new roll of film in it but to no avail. My Nikon N90s did the same thing not too long ago. Is this a common problem with the Nikon N/.90/90s series or is it a problem with all the automatic series of Nikon cameras? Is there a do it yourself fix or does it need to go to the repair shop? Thank you in advance
