Just joined and the forums are great. But way too many adds bouncing around. I like to use my iPad to post and view photos. Very unfriendly site for iPad. Even viewing photos so much crap adds everywhere.

Jochen When you answer a question you don’t mess around. I do like the fact I have a small zoom in my X30 and wonder if I would be happy with a fixed lens only but use fixed on my Nikon DX,s as well of course telephoto. Nice break down on street photography to. I have lots of don,t when doing street as no faces that can be identified and no homeless up close. I try to shoot people from the back or a shadow effect. I may in the future take a face shot but will get permission first. I am trying to work on my contrast with structure as buildings etc .

Thanks very much guys. I had my export setup at one time but stopped using Lightroom for about 6 months and forgot what tiny bit of knowledge I had gleaned from using it.

Hi All, I joined the adobe pay 10 bucks a month for the rest of your life program. So far it’s ok but have a question . When I increase a pic size 100 percent etc and try to save it at that size it reverts back to original size when saved. Any way around this. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys The last time I did bw film was a buddy and I had a darkroom aboard a Navy ship off coast of viet nam . Long gone are my old black and whites of the battle ship New Jersey lighting up those 16’s at night. Take care and thanks again for the info

Been using a Fuji x10 and x30 for street and black and white. Would like to hear others views on these cameras or b&w photography. Digital if you will. Thinking in about a year of upgrading to a x100 series Fuji for street. Thanks

New guy here but why is everyone talking about film in black and white section when there is a film pocessing section.

Hi All, I use a Nikon D300 bought used from keh I think with about 13000 when bought and have added maybe 5000 to that. For street I carry a X10 or x30 and shoot in color then convert usually to Black and White. Take care and have a good new year

Thanks guys for your suggestions. I will mostly use my Mac to post pics to a desktop folder then just drag photo to jpeg upload in photo.net app. I wish photo.net had a direct link to Lightroom like some other apps. Take care all and happy shooting Dudley

Hi All, I used 500px for several years but got tired of the huge popularity contest and so many up votes from people with no pics in their accounts but casting hundreds of votes. I have always thought a feature on a photo posting site that for a set time your newly posted pic would be associated with NO name would stop friend voting for friend and just voting on the pic period. Please my bit of a rant is not sour grapes as I was lucky to get the few votes I did as i am not a good photographer at all. Going to try photo net for awhile and maybe become a member.
