<p>I don't know, but that camera will work just fine with alkalines. I use PC640A batteries in mine. The camera circuitry compensates for the slight voltage difference.</p>

<p>That board is not supposed to be there. I don't know where it came from, but I'm afraid that EC might indeed be a paper weight. I wish I had better news.</p>
