Yes, I have moved the front standard as far back in as it will allow and ratched out the rails to expose the cam. The cam holder lifts up freely but acts as if the cam is permanently affixed. I'm wondering if it's the results of 25 years of storage. Thanks for your reply, I thinks it may checkup time.

I am attempting to follow the instruction manual for removing a cam for my 240 Tele Arton on my Super Tech IV. It is supposed to be a simple lift and pull. It won't budge when I lift to pull. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
