1. Leica adapter 22232. Very rare. Found one a few years ago but haven't tried it.
2. I use the Power Winder FN without batteries to use shutter button when in portrait mode as the grip makes it easier to hold.
3. You might want to check out a K10D with the CCD sensor. Many like the colors with manual K mount lenses. The focus assist for manual lenses works well for me & my old eyes & the green button gives very good exposures.
4. The first thing I was taught 40 some years ago was to meter for the main subject. The T90 with spot metering makes this easy. Usually only 3 points are needed for tricky lighting situations as shown in the manual although you can do up to 8 which is overkill. The 127 page manual has a pix to make it easier to understand. 103 page manual is missing this section. Remember to click TWICE on main reading before taking the others. The computer does the rest. If you think the manual confusing, just wait to figuring out the 300TL flash. One time I was playing around indoors with T90 tripod mounted. 100 ISO film & f22 & auto settings. FL filter used for indoor lights.. It took around 30 seconds to fire. No way would I have thought it would come out. Got film back & exposure perfect! That is why the T90 is the best body for metering film. Mostly used auto settings & trusted the cameras brain. Less confusing that way.
5.
I remember ads from 1993 that had F1N's & 85L's & maybe 80-200/4L's made up from remaining spare parts.
My F1N 289120 coded FE0447. A spare parts body 166539 code W817

6. Upgrade your lenses. Bodies are just a tool & won't make your photos any better. I bought a used K10D 3 years ago just to use all my Screwmount & K mount lenses I had since 1973. List what lenses you have & what you like to shoot & we can help you better.
7. Phil, It was a different time back then. Most PJ's Kept using F1N bodies until the reliability of the EOS 1 proven & had the money for AF lenses. Bean counters at Canon found many spare inventory parts so made some leftovers in 1994. Probably the rarest of all new FD lenses. Since it was my hobby, I was using a T70 & A1's before upgrading to a T90 in 1993, then dumped the A1's in favor of used F1N's & have only a single F1N left today. By 1996, I switched to Leica M's, main reason was that they would be serviced for many years in the future & the same with their lenses. Couldn't say that for the orphaned FD's.
8.
I recall that in 1994, Canon advertised in some photo magazines a limited number of F1N bodies & FD 85L & some other FD lenses were to be assembled from leftover spare parts. Maybe available through the Pro Service program only.

9. I used a Vivitar 72mm WA rubber hood. Screw threads allowed using filters.
10. Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 Macro with 1:1 tube & S1 90-180 Flat Field will cover all your macro needs. The 90 is one of the sharpest lenses ever made.
11. WWll French collaborator

12. Olympus E-330 & 50/2 Macro Lens.
