  1. Taken near the collapsed western portal of the Greywell canal tunnel of the Basingstoke canal
  2. This picture shows the tunnel lining that was exposed by the collapse of the western portal that closed the canal to through navigation

  4. All that is left of the west portal brickwork exposed in the western portal collapse of the Greywell canal tunnel that finally severed the Basingstoke Canal connection to Basingstoke
  5. This picture shows the three rings of brick lining the tunnel bore exposed by the collapse of the western portal - the tunnel also suffered an internal roof fall approximately 100M from this point but is otherwise sound for the remaining 1KM
