Thanks JDMvW... I ended up biting the bullet and taking my cameras into a Canon service centre to get the shutter counts.

Can anyone tell me how I can find out what the shutter count is (shutter actuations) on my 5D mark II cameras? I rang Canon service and was told I would need to post my cameras to them! I thought, are you kidding me!? There must be an easier way! David
