    I sent my M9 to Leica New Jersey last week. I saw a halo around a dust spot when shooting the sky at f22. They confirmed the sensor was corroded & are replacing it + a complete service free of charge even though I was past the cut off date.

    <p>I bought my F3 new in 1986. It still works fine & the only service has been a replacement of the foam pad the mirror bounces against. That was about twelve years ago.</p>
