What a nice photograph.
  3. I also have my T shirt with Al on it. Great guy from the good old Leica forum days. There was a lot of fighting and it was a lot of fun, Al got kicked out and banned for life, along with some other people.... I remember thet whenever one of my comments was either deleted or censored I always got a nice message from the moderator explaining the reason, and he was always right... David
  4.
When I got my first M3, it had been in a camera bag in a closet for many years. It had fungus everywhere, including the lenses. I had it serviced by Steve Choi in Los Angeles. This was more than 10 years ago and the camera is a joy to use. Be very careful with the front element of the Summmicron. Is very soft and easy to scratch.

  5.
Be very very careful when you remove the bottom plate to remove the film. The vulcanite will be brittle and is easy to damage.

  6.
IMHO, the double stroke feels much nicer than the single stroke.
