Here are my recommendations for Kodak Ektachrome IE that requires E-4 processing.. (Not the newer EIR):
Visible light meter reading at ISO / ASA 100. Use a yellow filter for optimal images. (A Hoya Y-52 filter will work fine). You might need to compensate 2-3 stops depending on lighting, but I'm sure you already know that. Keep a detailed logbook to track your results if you have more than 1 roll. Keep the f-stop closer to f-22, or smallest possible, with largest depth of field focus (infinite). Use a tripod and cable release combo. I prefer long exposures when composing images with running water for a dream-like effect, but as I mentioned it's simply a preference. Anticipate the image color conversions when composing the picture to get the best results (C-Y-R). That's about all I can think about at the moment. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns.

I recently tried a Hoya R72 Infrared filter, with a 5 stop compensation, but I will let you know of the results of that experiment after processing.

** I'm not sure if you live in California, but I know a place that can process the 20 Exp. film for about $10.
