    Spitfire!

Thanks for your comment, sorry for taking so long to reply! I was using shutter priority in order to avoid 'freezing' the propellor blades so I wasn't intentionally using f14 - but I will take note of your comment. In any case, it is a superb lens! many thanks Chris

Gentlemen Thank you all for taking the time to comment - it really is appreciated. Many thanks Chris
  5. A fairly ordinary scene, we've probably all seen views like this - but you have made it extraordinary. The 'tilt' is something that I would never have done but it adds immensely to the over all effect. Very well done.

  8. <p>Hi all<br> Paragon software installed (£12.95 sterling) and all seems to be working perfectly!<br> Many thanks for all of your help, really appreciated</p> <p>Chris</p>
  9. <p>Thanks Howard - I'll try the software solution tomorrow and report back.<br> Richard - thanks for your separate offer of help, I may well need it!</p>
  10. <p>Thank you all for your replies - it really is appreciated<br /> Howard - I'm trying to save the file to the external drive which must be formatted for Windows as the files were originally on a PC. So, Robert & Barry - I think you're probably right. <br /> Richard - your solution looks promising and cheaper than getting another external drive!<br /> I'll try and sort this tomorrow and report back on how things go.<br /> Many thanks again everybody - even you Jos ! :-)<br> cheers<br /> Chris</p>
  11. <p>Hi<br> I have recently switched to Mac from Windows and so am not very familiar with how things work.<br> The Mac is brand new, just out of the box.<br> Having just edited an image in Photoshop CC I am unable to save it - the error message is..<br> "Could not save as (file name) because write access was not granted"<br> Can anybody tell me how to fix this please? Not sure if it's relevant but all images are held on an external drive.<br> Many thanks for your help</p> <p>Chris</p>
