  1. Yes, that was what I was asking advice on from knowledgable forum members - which sections might be the most appropriate. :-)
  2. I just get a blank page... but I'm really looking for where I'd discuss in the forum these topics, rather than where to submit my photos for critiques.
  3. Ah right, I think I understand! Although I don't seem to get a list, just an option to upload photos. I was really looking for where would be best to discuss on the forums. :D
  4. Thank you Thank you! ETA: I've just realised that I don't have those categories. :-) They don't seem to be showing for me. I have Abstract, Black and White, Digital Darkroom, Aerial and Drone, Film and Processing, Landscape, Macro, Nature, Phone and Mobile, Portraits and Fashion, Street and Documentary, Sports, Travel, and Wedding and Event.
  5. I have a couple of high quality, plain, well fitting polo shirts with my name and "Photographer" embroidered on the front in small letters. It's what I'm comfortable wearing and working in. I'll wear either (non ripped) jeans or smart chinos/slacks usually. And footwear dependant on the job - I prefer trainers, but also have boots for very muddy jobs, smarter trainers, or just plain flat shoes (Toms - they're lifesavers). I have formal, double cuff shirts and plain ties if I need to be *really* smart for some reason. In my polo shirt you can see my tattoos, and I often have fashionable haircuts and bleach my hair... this is why I put pictures of myself as my identity on my website and try to meet clients in person. If they are unhappy with the way I look then I suspect we would not be a good fit. And that's ok - not every photographer is right for every client and it's generally better to discover this early on in the relationship rather than later. :-)
  6. Hey there! I'm a photographer and writer from Oxford in the UK. What I mostly shoot is tabletop still life images and architecture - but where should I post them on the forums here? Can anyone give me some guidance? Anyway, I'm really looking forward to being a part of the community here.
