1.
Thank you everyone for your excellent responses.

 2.
Hi, chaps,
I'm looking to replace my 5D Mk I as my second body (I also have a 5D Mk II). My question is, is the 7D Mk II better than my current 5D Mk II (yes, Mark Two), specifically when used in low light?
I'm a wedding photographer in the UK, so I'm often bumping up my ISO and using my lenses at f2.8. I'd love to be able to bump up my ISO further without compromising on quality. I know the 5D Mk III is excellent at low light, but I have a sweet EF-S 10-22mm lens I haven't been able to use since my 20D days, which I'd love to use again if the 7D Mk II proves worth it. I'm asking about comparison with the 5D Mk II because I know what that the results are like, day in, day out.
Anyone have any experience? Could I risk the 7D Mk II or should I just go with the 5D Mk III, and wave bye-bye to my lovely lens?
Thanks.

 3. Thanks, Peter, you're right I have never changed the back-up battery, so I'll give that a go today.
 4.
Hi all,
I had a problem during a shoot at the weekend. I was happily shooting away on Av with my 5D Mk II with 24-70 lens, no flash attached, when it suddenly wouldn't take a frame when I pressed the button. I turned it on and off: same problem. Took out battery for a while, and then it worked for a couple of frames then the same problem appeared. I checked the LED, and the icon for flash exposure compensation was showing, which is odd with no flash attached, right? I wiped down the hotshoe, and tried it on Tv, but it still happened.
Later on I took the battery out again, and it seemed to work OK, but I switched to a back up camera and lens for the rest of the shoot. I'm worried it's going to happen again. I haven't updated the firmware for a while, which I guess might help (I'm assuming that wouldn't wipe any of my custom settings?)
Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Any solutions?

Many thanks.
