Dear all I am having a real issue with my 35mm negs. An example of my issue is attached. I am using Digibase kit and developing at 30 degrees. The chemical mix is correct (results are fine with 120) my hygiene between processes is fine The temperature is constant 30 degrees I get the same issue with an in version every 30 seconds or when I use a constant slow rotation Sprocket holes seem to be the focus of the issue but no idea how to stop this. When I first started C41 develping I had none of this issue!. Really starting to run out of options.. Any thoughts or help appreciated

Well the streaking has gone so I need a more gentle agitation approach it seems

OK just done a 120 colour dev. This time I have added the chems more slowly and rotated rather than inverted as an agitation. So far looks OK .... results to follow

Thanks for the responses - I tend to pour in the chemicals quickly without a funnel. I also only bleach for 30 seconds or so and that also gets sloshed in quickly. maybe I need to slow down with my approach and try to avoid 'vortexing' with more careful agitation

I have had on-going problems with my C41. I use Digibase C41 kit in patterson tanks. I am developing at 30 degrees C in a stable temperature water bath. I invert once every 30 seconds and rinse twice between stages with 30 degree water. Developer is mixed as per instructions and at the correct temperature and it's not old or over used. Any clues as to where I am going wrong would be much appreciated. I seem to able to replicate this issue every time I develop a film! I have attached two examples....One 645 and one 35mm

Hi - sorry to add onto this thread but I too am having issues with my C41, I seem to be getting these streaks and I am wondering having read the responses above of this is a development or a fixing issue? I have developed this film at 30 degrees for 7:40 with a couple of inversions every 30 seconds. Any suggestions welcome..
