I'd say get a well weather sealed body. The rain forest is going to be very very humid. Lots and lots of moisture. Look for one of the advanced bodies to go with the L lens like a 7D, 5D Mkii, 6D. is a 70D well sealed? I'm not sure but I reckon that might be important.

Ah fantastic! Reminds me of the first picture I took with a manual camera (Olympus 8080). I was looking at the spire of a church which looked really well against the backdrop of a blue sky but kept getting washed out due to overexposure for the sky so I dialled it down a bit and was absolutely stunned! I have the K50 now too and love it. Thanks for sharing your pic and reminding me.

<p>i'm going to Barcelona with the kids for a week and will have my trusty Ricoh GRD IV with me. Not going to bring my dslr as its too big and too obvious and stands out too much for the pickpockets and stuff. Already i've booked tickets for the Neu Camp, Funtasia Aquaparc and Guell Park. I also intend going to the Gothic Quarter and the Gaudi Hotel, any other suggestions are welcome.</p>
