1.
Thanks! I'll check out some others since this one is not in english.

 2. It appears that Sony has really addressed the issues. I have not gotten to the point of addressing focusing. I have been so used to using the split screen view finder. How does focus peaking and manual focus assist work?
 3.
I have summarized all the lenses everyone has mentioned. The most popular lens is the 50/1.4 followed by the 35/2. I can work on a shopping list from everyone's comments. Thank-you!

15/2 fisheye 1
17/4 1
24/2 2
24/2.8 1
28/2 1
35/2 5
35/2 SSC concave 1
50/1.2 L 1
50/1.4 9
50/f3.5 macro 2
55/1.2 SSC Aspherical 2
FL55/1.2 1
85/1.2 L 2
85/1.2 SSC Aspherical 1
85/1.8 SSC 3
100/2 2
100/2.8 1
100/4 1
135/2 2
135/2.5 1
200/2.8 1
300/ L 1
400/2.8 L 1
400/4.5 1
FL F 500/5.6 1
20-35/3.5 L 1
35-105/3.5 1
24-35-L 1
70-210/4 1
80-200/4 1
80-200/4 L 3

 4.
In essence, I really do not need to be concerned about metering with the newer adapters. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

 5.
As I have been looking for a digital camera to use with my FD lenses I met a gentleman who is the National Park photographer Frank Lee Ruggles. He has taken the place of Ansel Adams. We had a great discussion about digital vs. film. He pointed out that there is an issue with metering in the digital cameras using FD lenses.
What do you do for metering? Do I need to buy a good light meter? If so, what is your recommendations?

 6. I read, on this forum, of an individual who placed his lens in a window for 2 weeks and the lens became clear again. For some reason he wrapped the lens with aluminum foil. I presume that this protected the barrel from fading.
 7.
Jochen:
It seems that so far the 50/1.4 tops the list of favorites with the 35/2.0 a close second. I think I will try to compile a list from everyone's favorites.

 8.
Jim:
You have an enviable collection. I've looked at the specs on the 35/2.0 concave. In what situations do you use this lens? I am curious why the chrome nose lenses pop up. Is there a significant difference?

 9.
Stephen:
I will try out the 50 macro next time I am out.

 10.
David:
The photos are great. Thanks for the youtube video. It looks very simple to use.

 11.
Rick:
I think that I need to find someone close by with a fluorite lens so I can try it and compare it with a standard lens. I think that will be the tipping point for me.

 12.
David:
I will post my experience with the A7 on Wednesday.

 13.
Bill:
Based on the prices that the fluorite lenses are commanding I think that speaks for itself.

 14.
Ben:
I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the great information. I like your description of your 3 primary lenses. I have the 85/1.8 and it is my favorite. I have since acquired a number of additional standard lenses to play with so I can get an idea of what I like. I have always looked upon the aspherical lenses as the best. As I get back into photography I will most likely sell the lenses I don't care for and upgrade to fluorite lenses.

 15.
Hi Ivan:
In my opinion the 85/1.8 is the way to go. I have one and it is my favorite lens by far. The 85 captures the human face perfectly.
