1.
I switched from DLSR to the FujiX-E1 2 years ago. I planned to switch slowly, but the Fuji lens performance destroyed my Nikon and Canon lenses. The only holdover; an OM 50mm f/1.4 for portraits.
My System includes the 10-24, 18-55 and 55-200 with extension tubes with the 55-200 for micro work (remember Macro means GREATER than life-size).
Never use short lenses (below 100mm) for nature micro work since you will be in the way of your light, your body temp will move small things like spider webs, and critters won't allow you in their space. Long lenses also allow far greater background focus control and space compression, highly necessary in close-up nature shooting.
The ability to control highlight and shadow tone with these two controls allows fantastic dynamic range control without RAW, HDR or anything that keeps me from creating images in the field.
The X-E1 shrank my kit by almost 2/3, my images are better than ever and I no longer walk slumped-over by the end of the day's shooting.
