1.
This may be a good place to post my query?
My wife asked me to do something similar at church. It, too, will be an outdoor event. I understand it will be portraits of families, though, so I am concerned about space. Also, the other kicker, it will be late in the evening and being geared for christmas, it will happen in December. In other words, it will be DARK. So I am thinking it is the opposite situation as the original poster who had to fight or control the sun.
My wife suggested an EZ-Up canopy but at 10 ft x 10 ft, or even 12 x 12 I worry about size. Probably ok for individuals but families maybe not. I would probably need more length for a portrait lens and width too, if the family is large.
I also worry about the canopy sides. It should not be open like the original poster. I'm thinking white walls would help bounce light around and make things quite easy?
Has anyone had an experience like this? Any ideas?
I just got 'volunteered' tonight and thankfully I have plenty of time to work this out.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
