1. Hi, I'm very satisfied with the results this lens is giving me with my 8x10 camera. Without movements it does give me full coverage. My question is filters. I'd like to purchase an orange filter. Anyone know what size would fit? I've never used filters on LF before. What kind of setup works best. Thanks in advance.
 2. Thanks guys for the very informative replies. I went with vuescan, so far seems straightforward. My scan looks pretty soft but it could be the way the scanner holds the negative. Might purchase a good 8x10 neg holder. Thanks guys
 3.
I have a few basic questions on the V850 scanner most likely same with older models.
I purchased it recently to avoid costly professional scans as much as possible. It was at an affordable price point for me.
I am only going to be scanning B&W 8x10 negs. The final output are 20x30 prints.
I've spent sometime yesterday going over the SilverFast 8 sc software that came with it, and the learning curve is not something i want to get into, not very intuitive software. Unless it makes a big difference in scan quality I just a well skip it.

Q.
1 Can I use the Epson professional scan software just as well. Images are going into PS anyway?
2 What are your "go to" setting in SilverFast or with Epson that produce the very best LF scans for you?
3 What the you consider the largest size print this scanner is capable of before the need for a drum scan.
I really appreciate any advice in this area. Thanks

 4.
Just asking for opinions,
I'm having my first exhibition as well as a few Art Festivals later in the year. What are your personal preferences when it comes to display. Most will be 16x20, all B&W nature images.
Old standard, black frame off white mat or Matte Acrylic frames?
Any thoughts which way to go?
thanks

 5. Thanks for the info. Not sure about which one I have exactly. The camera is the rz67 professional. I've added a photo of the finder in my post.

 6.
Hi I just purchased a chimney AE finder for my RZ67. It looks to be like new but it does not appear to be working.
Before I return it I'd like to be sure I am using it correctly.
Does anyone have a manual or experience with this model?
I do not have the RZ67 Pro just the older model.
I'm hoping its something I'm doing wrong with the settings on finder and or camera.
If anyone has any info on this particular model please be so kind and to offer some info.
It would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

 7. Have not found any info in regards to this. I'm looking to purchase a 'Schneider 121mm Super-Angulon lens. I see some with a chrome ring around lens others all black. Does that have any significance? Thank you
 8.
Well thanks guys. I went with a Nikon sw 120. Man I hate eBay. Advertised as being is great shape and working properly. HOWEVER I noticed the aperture ring slides so easy, too easy. The slightest touch and it moves across the aperture range. Now the return process.

 9. Wow ok that photo says it all. Thanks everyone for the input.
 10.
crap ok anyone want to buy a mint lens cheap? Otherwise I guess eBay it is.

 11. I'm afraid I already know the answer but I thought I would ask the pros. Will this lens give full coverage on a 8x10 camera? Thanks.
 12.
That help very much. thanks for the details.

 13. Have a digitech meter so no issue but... Test firing Metz flash to get a reading is perhaps my question. Thanks for two words. Any advice from someone with more knowledge then myself but no attitude would be greatly appreciated.
 14. I've been using my Mamiya RZ 67 and Metz 45 CL4 flash just fine with sync cord in lens for fill flash. Going down a few stops on flash gets me perfect fill. Now I'm going to do some low light and studio practice. My question is what's the best way to get a meter reading for the correct exposure. Basic questions if anyone can give me a walk through for outdoors as well as in studio with strobe triggers. My first go at this. It's only practice time but I hate to waste time and film by making a basic mistake. Thanks for any info.
 15. I purchased the image from an online seller of vintage photos and slides. It will be part of a historical art exhibit I'm creating. There is no way to track down owner or person in image if still living. Not sure if fair use would cover it. I've spent hours going over copyright laws and they seem to be vague at times in this area.
