1.
Thanks Brian S. Have you used the Mamiya system? Any major problems/ issues besides the massive size as compared to the blads?

 2.
Thanks for the Info Keith S. I will check out Ken's info. As for the blads on the moon, 1st virgin flight I'll be there to grab one for each of us :-)

 3.
Hi all in the process of choosing a system and asking several questions about Mamiya and Hasselblad. Right now I own a nikon dslr. My question is I had an 85mm-1.8 105mm and have used the 200mm f2 on nikon in the past (Also the stellar 70-200mm 2.8) I was wondering which lens would be equivalent to say the nikon 85mm or nikon 105 or 200. I'm basically wondering what you guys/gals consider the ultimate portrait lens and focal length for this system. I know that the 35mm equivalents are much shorter so a 90mm nikon is much smaller on medium format. So I guess I'm looking for a 105 & above equivalent. Would love to see any links or pics of peoples work shooting this system and or Hasselblad. Thank you all in advance.
Regards
Anthony

 4.
Hello All. I'm just starting to get into medium format film photography. I've been looking online and asking a few questions. I've been told that If I go the hasselblad route, I should look at one of the 2 cameras above as there fairly new and parts availability would be better. I've also read that some people who use digital backs on older blads like the 500c or c/m have reported problems ( that would be much further down the road for me). So just wanted to get a general consensus of which you fine medium format shooters would pick. Money is definitely an object, (as in my next post i'm also looking at a mamiya rz67). My main goal would be to start shooting more film. I would also be willing to buy a new flatbed scanner and the chemicals to develop b&W at home to archive. Thanks in advance for any hel

Regards

 5.
Thanks. Haven't tried the 7 frames etc... More so just concerned abt the grip functioning properly. Thanks Shaun I figured that. More than likely the grip is defective.

 6.
Hello All. I purchased a flahpoint grip for my nikon d810 ( I know its best just to buy right the 1st time) so the grip works well when there are 2 batteries inserted. If I only have the battery in the grip I get the dead battery icon. and the camera will not turn on. If I have a batt in the body and in the grip everything works as should be. I was just wondering is this a grip issue or even with the nikon branded battery grip will I have the same issue.

Thanks in advance for any help with this matter.

 7.
Hi was just wondering if anyone has this problem with their v1 200mm f/2. When I initially attach the lens to the body, I get like a high pitch screeching sound. After a couple of seconds of the lens going back and forth everything is ok and the noise is gone. Just wondering if this is normal or is there a problem. Also, I would like to sell this lens as it is the best lens I never use. So with that in mind I would like to also know what would be a good price to post the lens for. The body and glass is in excellent shape I got it second hand. I only kept the manual and bag ditched the box and everything else. Thanks in advance for any help with this topic.
