1.
Hi,

I just got everything working on my computer. I'm trying to scan 35mm color film on the minolta using vuescan, but the colors settings are overwhelming me. I know there are tutorials out there, but everyone uses flat beds. Is there anyone out there will good settings for this scanner? I've tried putting the negative into photoshop and then inverting the color, but it just doesn't look accurate.

 2.
Hi I'm going to try and use this scanner with vuescan on a mac, but the usb it came with is a 2.0 A MALE TO B MALE. Could I just get a usb A MALE TO A MALE?

 4. So I just got this scanner passed down to me and I was wondering what I should do? I know that using this thing for vista or Windows 7 can be a hassle so should I get a xp desktop ideally? Also is vuescan worth getting and what exactly does it do?
 5. Thanks a lot people! Honestly, I just want quality images that I can blow up if I want to. Mostly I'll just be soon stuff for th web or little photobooks, but it's always nice to have the option to blow something up if I need it.
 6.
also is it possible to find film slide/trays for minolta scanners?

 7.
Hello,
I'd like to save money and buy my own scanner, but I don't know what to get. It's very difficult to research every product so I'd like to get some advice. I realize that the dedicated film scanners will be the best, but I don't have 1000 dollars to spend on a nikon.
As far as dedicated scanners go it seems like minolta's are affordable, although are they compatible with a MAC or anything above windows xp?
Should I just get a flatbed scanner? I want to have the photos on my computer and maybe do some decent prints. What is a good scanner for 100-250$?

 9.
Okay, this is an update on a question I have already asked. So the camera seems to advance normally while the door is open, but when I close the door, advancing is rough. Along with that, rewinding the camera is super hard when the door is closed, but when it is open everything is normal. Lastly, the door it's self seems to be a little bent because when I close it, I noticed that the middle sticks out slightly.
This must be a issue with the door right? This is super annoying, because I cannot put my finger on what is causing this problem. I should also mention that when I opened the door after a roll there was a lot of small particles that seems like pieces of film. I looked at the film and nothing is torn, but maybe there are small sections I have not noticed.

 10.
Hello,
I just bought a Nikon 2 that is in very good shape except that when I load film into it there is a struggle to advance. Why do you think this is? Its a bit of a struggle to wind the film back into the canister also. Does it need to be tuned up and how much would this cost to repair?
