1.
Hi
I am using 50 mm lens with my D 7000. Thinking of adding a tele lens. Which will be a better choice – prime 180 ( f2.8), 70-300 vr, or 70-200 f4? I have used 70-200 ( f2.8) once on rent and couldn’t use it much as it is so big and heavy. It is for general purpose like events, birds etc. I have read that 70-300 is good till 200 only, is it so?

 2.
Thanks all. The Indian Nikon site has only AF DC-Nikkor 135mm f/2D. However, I could see Nikon 135mm f/2.8 Nikkor AI-S in some other sites. So I thought the f 2.8 one is not in market

 3.
Nikkor 135 f 2.8 manual focus available?

 4.
Thanks all. Hope this one is better than 70-200 f 4?

 5.
What is the difference Michael?

 6.
Thanks all for important information. Generally I take portraits and general stuff using my 50mm 1.4. Occasional wildlife when I cross the highway through the forest. My question on 80-200 is if it is of an earlier version and parts are not available, why Nikon India still selling it? See the link below:
http://www.nikon.co.in/en_IN/product/nikkor-lenses/fx-format/zoom/af-zoom-nikkor-80-200mm-f2-8d-ed

 7.
Thanks Ilkka. For candid portraits and wildlife?

 8.
Is any version of AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8 has VR? I am using D 7000. SHall I go for this one or 70-300?
