1. Hi! Wondering if anyone has any insight or experience with this... I was just contact by a NYT best-selling author (traditionally published) wanting to license a photograph for one of her ebook covers. She is redoing the covers of her ebooks, so my photo will only be used for an ebook - not print. I've having trouble coming up with a price quote to give her. PhotoQuote is not seeming to be much help, since this would be for an ebook only and not a print book AND its ebook. It would be non-exclusive world English rights. One photograph for one ebook cover. Any help or guess as to what I should price this at would be appreciated! Thanks!
 2.
Hi Gary! Thanks for the response. I have not decided yet if I am going to move forward with the project or not. I am still trying to get a little more information from the company before I sign any contracts. I do know that they will be taking a 50% gallery commission out of my retail prices, so I am struggling with knowing if I should raise my prices or give them more of a 'wholesale' price then. Have you found that it is worth pursing these types of deals or am I better off passing it by? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

 3.
Hello! I was recently approached by an art consultant firm to produce photographic prints for high-end hotels. The prints would be used in either guestrooms (multiple reproductions) or as limited edition prints for a gallery space within the hotel. All of the printing, framing, etc. would be out of my hands and performed by the company. The size of prints they are looking for are large scale - around 40x60".
I have not worked with licensing my images before and am trying to get my head around what sort of figures I should suggest. I currently have my own online store where I sell open edition prints. They are priced relatively low - much lower than what I would charge in a gallery setting. This art consultant contacted me through my online store, so I know that the lower retail prices were visible to her.
I need to come up with a retail price for them and also any additional charges for commissions if applicable. Any help or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
