Timeless! B&W works very well here. Maybe an idea would be to focus in closer on the worker and wait until his face can be seen. -

I would crop out the tourists, especially the lady and child on the right. I find it distracting from the great expression and shape of hard work that the main character in your picture has. Maybe a B&W conversion of the porter could also work well. Just an idea.... -
