  1. I scanned some black and white films with HP Scanjet 4600. The pointed resolution was 2400 dpi or Less . See samples. I want to make rescan with Primefilm 3650u or 7250u. There is essential price difference. So please write if there are any essential advantage in quality when scanning with 7250u for scanning of black and white films of bad quality.
  2. Please write about your experience of using both of scanners, if you have such. I mean Primefilm 3650u and Primefilm 7250u.
  3. Now I use Hewlett Packard Scanjet 4600. I plan to buy scanner better. I use vuescan to solve issue of system conpatibility.
  4. Standard generic 35mm fillms. I included only models with relatively high resolution. and scan without cutting of films.
  5. Dear Sirs, I scan my old films with family photos. Scanning of some from them are of ugly quality. The sample is on the photo attached. I heard it can be because of wrong exposition or underdeveloping. I use Vuescan for this job. I want to get as many details on resulting image as possible. Please write me, which scanners do you recommend or point criterias for scanner choice. The list of preferrable scanners is below. I do not want to use chemicals for films, because of no knowledge and equipment.
