I am a "born again" photographer.
I first became interested in photography while attending Cretin High School in St. Paul, and this passion continued throughout my college years at the University of Minnesota. Following graduation (and loss of access to darkroom facilities), my involvement with photography was put on hold for many years.
With the advent of digital photography, I discovered that the computer provided a "virtual darkroom" opportunity. The new technology allowed the passion for art through photography to flare again in my life.
I have had my images exhibited at the Spot Art Gallery, Hopkins Center for the Arts, and the Grain Belt Brewery. Several of my images have been published in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, including the Star Tribune Photo of the Week. I had a solo two month exhibit at the 2008 Art in the Mayors Office Exhibition Program at Minneapolis City Hall.
Life beyond photography has involved working in the insurance business since 1979, and running my own agency.
