At the centre of my photographic practice I am looking for the unknown in the familiar. I enjoy the concentration it takes to get the right picture and I get excited about the smallest details, as the tiniest shift in focus can change the experience of the photo dramatically.
Photography is my playground: finding the perfect blurry photo, the moment of stillness, creating landscapes with fabrics and capturing what is around me and close to my heart. I reduce everything to the essential, leave out distracting items, and focus on the necessary. My art is always represented in an abstract and minimalistic style to create some ambiguity about the object pictured and encourage a more lasting visual response.
