BIOGRAPHY
Thanks for taking the time to look at my photographs and sharing your comments and constructive criticism. For many years I have been fancying photography. After I joined a local club of photographers, I came to like photography very much and started a curriculum at a school in Antwerp (Belgium) where I learned to know the tricks of the trade. Because of my professional occupation I'm more an occasional photographer and I'm always looking to the simple things around us. I do not often manipulate photos. I've always seen the dark room as a necessary evil, but both black and white photographs and colour photographs I developed in the dark room. Until I discovered the benefits of digital photography. At first I managed myself with scanning negatives, now I purchased a Canon EOS 10D. I'm still a member of the local club of photographers in my village Herenthout (Belgium) 'Kunstkring Toreke Fotografie' (www.torekefoto.be), where I am the chairman. I hope you enjoy what I have presented here in my portfolio as much as I did while taking the pictures!
