BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1982, I live in Aalborg, a city in Northern Jutland, Denmark. I have a M.Sc. degree in Geography and I'm currently PhD student and fixed-term lecturer at Aalborg University. I have been very interested in photography the last five years, and photography has taken up all my spare time these years. My photographic interests are mainly street photography and landscape photography. I find pictures by Robert Doisneau, Brassai, Man Ray, Edward Weston, André Kertész, Eugéne Atget, August Sander, Harry Callaham, Paul Strand, Imogen Cunningham, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Ansel Adams a great inspiration. My photographic equipment is as follows: Canon 400D, Canon EOS 350D, Canon EOS 300 (Non-D!), Metz flash, Canon 10-22mm USM (EF-S lems), Canon 50mm F1.8 Mark II, Canon 28mm F2.8, two Canon 18-55mm (EF-S lens) and a Sigma 28-300mm. For medium format photography I own a Soviet Kiev 88 with a 80mm Arsat F2.8 lens. The Kiev camera was made in 1982 according to the serial numbers on the body and the lens, which is the same year as I was born, which is quite cool I think! I enjoy traditional darkroom work, and I have a IFF Duogon 6x9cm enlarger with a 50mm Rodenstoch Rodagon F4 lens for 35mm film and a Rodenstock Rodagon 80mm F5.6 lens for larger formats. However, the last couple of years I've done all my "process-work" in Photoshop.
