After a career as a corporate consultant trainer and author, Francie purchased a professional digital camera and returned to her original passion, photography. Francie’s journey with photography began in high school, when she received her first 35mm film camera. She fell in love with this artful medium and studied art and photography in high school and in college. Since returning to photography in 2007, Francie has become a multiple award winning photographer and has been honored with the esteemed designation of Certified Professional Photographer (CPP). Less than 2500 photographers worldwide have achieved this designation and Francie received her CPP in January 2011. Francie draws from her creative ability and her passion for detail to photograph subjects that are often described as photo art. When photographing weddings, Francie captures the most intimate expressions of joy, love and tenderness which become treasured memories. Francie’s photographs are never conventional because of her art training and her ability to see beauty in all creations. Whether shooting portraits or weddings, Francie captures that moment in time which will bring pleasure to all who view photography as creative art. Francie is also a published author and she is a featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work, Chicken Soup for the Laughing Soul, Stories that Inspire a Teenagers Heart as well as having articles appear in Bottomline Magazine, New York Times, Dallas Business Journal, state and national association publications and worldwide over the Internet. In addition, Francie is the photography technical editor for Wiley Publishing.
