BIOGRAPHY
I started into photography when my wife presented me with a Minolta XG-1 for my birthday over thirty years ago. To experiment and save on film developing costs, I soon started to develop my own black and white film. Then I set up my own darkroom complete with dry mount press.
After reading Ansel Adams' books, I soon bought my own 8x10 view camera and used that and the Zone system for my more important work. I have delved into processing color - slides, prints, Cibachromes etc. but black and white holds a special place in my heart.
