BIOGRAPHY
I started taking pictures because I had to. When I entered the Art History program at college my adviser told me I had to learn how to use a 35mm camera, because I needed to take pictures of the art I would be writing about. My teachers liked my photos and this lead to artists and staff asking if I would take photos of their shows and processes. After I graduated I also worked in a lab and camera store. When I got married I decided to get a real job, so after 32 years in the finance business and over 30 years of marriage I am back taking pictures seriously. Currently I am trying to learn more about digital photography (boy things have changed over the last 30 years!). I still use my old Canon system and Rollieflex, old habits are hard to break. My wife and I enjoy retirement, playing golf and taking pictures together.
