BIOGRAPHY
I started taking photo's when I was 19. I'm 55 now. I quickly got interested and started buying alot of different equipment. My friends and family started noticing my good eye and talents. I would be asked to bring my camera to almost every place I went. I quickly started getting asked to do weddings, birthdays and anniversary parties. So I started a part time photography business. I bought a used Mamiya 645 kit from a sales rep and I was off and running. Ten years later I took over our family construction company and didn't have time to work the part time photography business. Five years ago I bought my first digital camera and I was hooked again. A 3.5 meg Olympus. Then a Nikon d70 a d200, And now my favorite a d3. In May of 08 I bought my first d3 after waiting 7 months. I had it 3 weeks and my truck was broken into and $14,000.00 worth of camera equipment stolen. I still had the d70 and the d200 but lost all my good lenses. I got $8,100 back from insurance and bought another d3. Now I mainly shoot sports, portraits and parties. I haven't had the desire to go back to doing weddings. I shoot 3-5,000 sports photo's a week in my spare time. I still run the Construction company full time. I sell online through my web-site. I'm trying to build up my customer base to do this when I retire. I really love to shoot for fun and post my captures on the internet. I have a lovely wife of 27 years a 17 year old daughter and a 19 year old son.
