Updated February, 26th 2012. I live in the Netherlands. I've been travelling a lot and still am in Europe and Northern Africa. Travelling is the perfect occasion to create artistic images in one's mind and on film or digital media. I started photographing at the age of 6. Still a lot of photo's uploaded are "Figital" products, i.e. Film based photographs either positives or negatives, subsequently scanned with Nikon Coolscan Filmscanners. I still use both 35mm Minolta and Voigtlander camera's and a Medium Format Hasselblad film-camera. Although you cannot really compare shooting film and digital I always mention the fact that I got 20! Megapix digital images from 35mm Negatives or Possitives and 75! Megapix digital images from Medium format Negatives. So enlargements can be quite huge without loss of sharpness. The digital era gives us the opportunity to produce and create wonderful images. Cost reduction is the reason I'm using more and more a digital pro-camera. So you will see both digital and figital products on my portfolio. I Post-Process all images in PaintShop. PaintShop offers me all the features of the old-fashioned "Dark-Room" and More. Often I place a large version of the images. So if you open an image try to click a second time in order to view the large version, which contains more details and has been sharpened for that large size. I hope you enjoy viewing my portfolio.
