BIOGRAPHY
I'm a novice photographer from South Weber, Utah. I work from my home most of the time, but travel a little as well, occasionally to places that are fun to take pictures of. I also play in the nearby mountains and on the local lakes quite a bit, and have four kids, so I have plenty to take pictures of... for the rare occasion when I manage to take a good one. As a professional programmer, I'm quite comfortable with computer technology and also enjoy digital manipulation of my photos, primarily using the GIMP.
I've owned a Canon Powershot G2 for a few years, and just recently acquired a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I'm having a great time with it and beginning the process of learning how to use it well and figuring out what lenses I need for the type of photography I like to do.
